If you read a lot of articles, magazines, and books on your Windows computer, and find yourself reading them a lot at night, it might be a good idea to turn on Night Light.
Night Light is a great feature on Windows 10 that reduces blue light, which has been shown to disrupt sleep and cause eye strain with prolonged exposure. It does this by instead displaying warmer, “red”, colors.
Fortunately, enabling this feature is very straightforward.
And you can even schedule your computer to turn on Night Light automatically at night.
Step #1 – Go to the corner of your task bar and click on “Type here to search”.
Step #2 – Type in “Night Light”.
Step #3 – Click on “Night Light System Settings”.
You’ll now be on the night light settings window.
From here, you can manually turn on night light whenever you need it, choose to schedule night light, and adjust the strength of night light.
Note: The stronger your night light, the redder your screen will become, so it might not be a good idea to be doing any color-sensitive work when you have night light on.
